EMERGENCY ALERT for JAMBIN (north of Biloela)

Emergency Alert for Jambin (north of Biloela)  30th March 2017 10:01 PM
An Emergency Alert message has been issued by the Banana Shire Council for residents in Jambin advising of a continued dam release at Callide Dam.
The release is currently equal to the inflows but Jambin residents can still expect to be affected.
Police are currently door knocking the Jambin township and residents are being asked to be aware of the water levels and be prepared to take action.
The Jambin School is available for shelter if required.
Residents have also been asked to contact their neighbours if they have concerns for their safety and are advised to listen to 94.9FM radio for information.
